Flexibility

ACTIVE FLEXI-LEGS & SPLITS TRAINING:

What experience do I need?

This course is designed for all levels of flexibility and strength. No dance, fitness or prior flexibility is required. 

 

What is included in each class? 

Each class begins with a thorough warm-up and conditioning exercises for both passive and active splits. This course will focus on teaching you how to safely and effectively train your flexibility in both box and front splits. This course has been designed so that beginners and advanced splits students can learn together, regardless of their prior experience. 

 

Each class ends with a short cool-down to prevent injuries. 

 

What should I wear?

Please wear leggings or other comfortable fitness attire. 

We train in bare feet and socks only. 

Please note: Shoes are NOT permitted inside the studio. 




BACKBENDS & NEEDLE SCALES:

What experience do I need?

This course is designed for all levels of flexibility and strength. No dance, fitness or prior flexibility is required. 

 

What is included in each class? 

Each class begins with a thorough warm-up and conditioning exercises for backbending. This course will focus on teaching you how to safely and effectively train your flexibility for bridges, needle-scales and other backbend tricks and poses. This course has been designed so that beginners and advanced backbend students can learn together, regardless of their prior experience. 

 

Each class ends with a short cool-down to prevent injuries. 

 

What should I wear?

Please wear leggings or other comfortable fitness attire. 

We train in bare feet and socks only.

HANDSTANDS & ARM BALANCES:

What experience do I need?

This course is designed for all levels of flexibility and strength. No dance, fitness or prior flexibility is required. 

 

What is included in each class? 

Each class begins with a thorough warm-up and conditioning exercises for handstands and arm balances. This course will focus on teaching you how to safely and effectively train your flexibility and strength for handstand tricks and arm balances. Throughout the course, you will learn proper handstand form as well as techniques to help improve strength and body engagement. This course has been designed so that beginners and advanced handstand students can learn together, regardless of their prior experience. 

 

Each class ends with a short cool-down to prevent injuries.
