POLE FITNESS BEGINNERS 1

POLE FITNESS BEGINNERS 1

What experience do I need?

No prior experience is necessary all levels are welcome!

 

General Class Content

Each class begins with a specialised warm up for pole training.

Conditioning exercises designed to build your strength and flexibility.

Techniques to improve proper form.

For the first 3 weeks of the term, you will be building your skills on static pole, for the last 3 weeks of term you will build your skills on spin pole.

Each session concludes with a gentle cool-down.

 

Level Description

This class introduces the essential techniques of pole fitness, providing you with a strong foundation to advance your movements as you progress.

You will learn basic skills, spins, tricks and transitions.

You will prepare for inverting (going upside down on the pole)

 

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable sportswear, such as leggings or shorts. By the third week please wear shorts as you need skin to grip the pole.

We train barefoot or in socks—please note that shoes are not permitted in the studio.

All Jewellery must be removed and should not be worn in the studio.

POLE FITNESS BEGINNERS 2

POLE FITNESS BEGINNERS 2

What experience do I need?

Completion of at least one Beginners 1 term within our studio.

 

General Class Content

Each class begins with a specialised warm up for pole training.

Conditioning exercises designed to build your strength and flexibility.

Techniques to improve proper form.

For the first 3 weeks of the term, you will be building your skills on static pole, for the last 3 weeks of term you will build your skills on spin pole.

Each session concludes with a gentle cool-down.

 

Level Description

This class introduces the essential techniques of pole fitness, providing you with a strong foundation to advance your movements as you progress.

You will learn to progress the basic skills, spins, tricks and transitions.

You will start working on inverting and going upside down on the pole.

 

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable sportswear, such as suitable pole-wear, shorts, sleeveless top. You will need your skin to grip the pole.

We train barefoot or in socks—please note that shoes are not permitted in the studio.

All Jewellery must be removed and should not be worn in the studio.

POLE FITNESS BEGINNERS 3/4

What experience do I need?

Completion of Beginners 1&2 term within our studio.

For the first 3 weeks of the term, you will be building your skills on static pole, for the last 3 weeks of term you will build your skills on spin pole.

You will advance your basic skills, spins, tricks and transitions to prepare you for our low intermediate programme.

You will learn a variety of skills, including inside and outside leg hangs, Gemini, Scorpio, climbs, Jamilla, Butterfly, Pretzel, and shoulder mount preparation.

For the first 3 weeks of the term, you will be building your skills on static pole, for the last 3 weeks of term you will build your skills on spin pole.

This class introduces the essential techniques of pole fitness, providing you with a strong foundation to advance your movements as you progress.

You will advance your basic skills, spins, tricks and transitions.

You will learn a variety of skills, including inside and outside leg hangs, One Handed Spins, Gemini, Scorpio, Jamilla, Extended Butterfly, Pretzel, Aerial Inverts and Shoulder Mounting.

Wear comfortable sportswear, such as suitable pole-wear, shorts, sleeveless top. You will need your skin to grip the pole.

We train barefoot or in socks—please note that shoes are not permitted in the studio.

POLE FITNESS INTER/ADV

What experience do I need?

Completion of Low Intermediate term within our studio and ready to advance your skills.

 

General Class Content

Each class begins with a specialised warm up for pole training.

Conditioning exercises designed to build your strength and flexibility.

Techniques to improve proper form.

For the first 3 weeks of the term, you will be building your skills on static pole, for the last 3 weeks of term you will build your skills on spin pole.

Each session concludes with a gentle cool-down.

 

Level Description

This class introduces the essential techniques of pole fitness, providing you with a strong foundation to advance your movements as you progress.

You will advanced skills, spins, tricks and transitions.

Each combination will have a simplified or more complex version for different members ability levels.

You will learn a variety of skills such as, Handsprings, Shoulder Mounts, Jade, Leg Hangs and Leg Hang Shapes, Extended Butterfly, Tumbles, Drops, Flips, and Pole Handstands. 

 

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable sportswear, such as suitable pole-wear, shorts, sleeveless top. You will need your skin to grip the pole.

POLE IN HEELS – BEGINNERS

What experience do I need?

Completion of Pole Fitness Beginners 1 Programme. Members who are comfortable with basic spins and tricks.

 

General Class Content

Each class begins with a specialised warm up for pole in heels training.

Conditioning for dancing in heels, balance and floorwork.

Pole In Heels classes are completed on static pole only.

In each class you will learn new choreography to a song.

Pole In Heels is a non-invert class.

Each session concludes with a gentle cool-down.

 

Level Description

This class introduces the essential techniques of dancing in heels.

You will be guide through those important fundamentals of pole dance. Including fluid movement, pirouettes, basic transitions, heel clacks, hair flicks, body rolls & floorwork.

You will learn to progress in musicality and cue with the music.

 

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable dance/pole wear. You will need kneepads and heels.

If you do not own heels, they can be borrowed from the studio provided you wear socks and kneepads can be purchased at reception.

We train barefoot or in socks—please note that shoes are not permitted in the studio.
