Isabel O’ Grady

I have been doing hoop and pole in Tribe for four years. As a scientist, I wear my lab coat during the day then by night, swap pipettes for pleasers! What started as a ‘fun way to keep fit’ is now an enormous part of who I am. Hoop is my sanctuary. It is my creative outlet, and I absolutely adore being on stage. Every person has their own unique flair and it has been such an incredible journey finding my own style.

I find pole incredibly empowering too – I like to train both regular pole and ‘slinky’ or exotic pole. Training in Tribe has taught me a new appreciation for my body – for the things it is capable of doing now, and the things it can be trained to do.

How she feels about Tribe:

Tribe is a second home to me. The energy and community within the walls of Tribe are palpable. Being surrounded by so many inspiring, hard-working and bad ass people means my ambitions are constantly evolving. There is always new challenges and I will always consider myself a student. I recommend it to everyone!
